I want to build a sql menu based on N number of search criteria. The search
criteria is optional. So the sql command used in building the menu has to be
generated dynamically based on the number of search criteria selected.

Please provide a solution,it would be of great help.

Then you perhaps are not looking at a SQL menu - you are looking at a search menu using the keyword EXTERNAL in the menu condition to insert those optional criterias...
