In CMDB, how an asset is maintained

i mean, "whether an asset is linked to the manager or it is linked to the database"

can anybody answer for this question?

It can be linked to both the theory is 1 to many, many to many and many to 1. Where these relationships are held is the secret to understanding CMDB.
