Herb, what I have decided to do, and what I'm hearing from others who are doing this, is to eschew the Altiris connector and just go with DB links. It's easier to document and maintain at the customer level, and a more portable skill for our consultants to learn than a connector they might use once.
The only real variables there are whether to access the data directly from the Altiris DB or to have some Remedy forms periodically grab and hold a copy of the data. That's a case-by-case thing.

I'm using Remedy 4.5, so for us its just a sql call. I use it for remote control for the built in Carbon Copy in HelpDesk by matching the username. So on 6x you could most likely do an Extenal call.

Good Morning List
I am looking for any words of wisdom about an integration between
Remedy and Altiris from the community that are using or have integrated the two.
I am not looking for sales pitches or advertisements about buying another product instead.
Thanks
Herb
