I came across a similar problem with the ootb 5.1.2 ardbc plugin. To identify the problem I set the plugin log level to finest and ran the query in all it's forms...then looked in the plugin.log file to see what it was that was actually being issued to the LDAP server. I eventually fixed my problem by upgrading to a later patch level of server

Subject: Vendor Form Question
**
I have a vendor form that is looking into the user objectclass of Active Directory. I am trying to build an escalation that looks at the whenChanged date field to fire some workflow. The problem I am having is with the qualification, my qualification should look like this, 'date field' >= ($TIMESTAMP$ - (60*60*24*365)). When I do this I get "no matching requests". I should get some records. If I run the query 'date field' <= $TIMESTAMP$, I get all records, ,as i should. If I do the same query, but add -60 to it I get "no matching requests". If I run the first query, but put an actual number in place of $TIMESTAMP$, I get a return. Is there a problem with vendor forms and doing calculations with keywords and numbers? From my testing is seems that I can't do a calculation on a time field using both keywords and integers. Can use either but not both....Anyone else run into this and/or have an explanation?
