Hi everyone,

One of our users can’t display Crystal Reports. She
checks “ODBC Use Underscores” but when she tries to display
the report she gets an error. When she goes back to Tool-
>Options->Advanced she finds that “ODBC Use Underscores” is
no longer checked. I’ve even had her go directly into the
ODBC and check it, but it doesn’t stay checked.

A few other oddities:
1. This only started happening when we upgraded from 5.1.2
to 6.3.

2. She can display Crystal Reports on other machines with no
problem.

3. Other people can display Crystal Reports on her machine
with no problem.

It only happens to this one user on this particular PC. (Her
machine is XP service pack 2)

Any suggestions?

Is the field set to YES in the Remedy User Pref form? (But should be synced with tools/options ...)
In ver 5.1.2 ar.ini stored the value use underscores = YES, not a problem related to an ar.ini file value? If i'm right ar.ini is no longer used if using a prefserver and ver 6, L ars

Have a look at the server preferences for that user. This option is probably
set to no in her preferences and this is what causes the changes.

Hope this helps
