Well we are just beyond the 5/8 rail, and what a shocking race so far..

Wait, ...
Folks I don't know what is happening and cannot seem to give you a
status..

There is a huge dust storm on that side of the track.. Don't seem to be
windy, that is for sure..
But the Dust is everywhere ... People seem to be running to that
side of the track..

Well looks like we are going to have to wait for either the horses
to move through it.. Or the dust to settle.
Maybe we can give you a status update after a commercial from "Leftovers"
Hi, are you hungry.. Well today we have specials and subs, Panini's,
and well,
Whatever was left over from the President's inauguration .. Plenty
of hot goodies..
From "Leftovers".. A name you can trust
"We keep what "you don't want", Hot, for someone else who's not"

"Leftovers is not responsible for the accidental illnesses after the last
democratic convention, we are sorry for those inpatient services, and will
ensure no ketchup will be used in future events"

I can not find it in upgrade central yet, although we are on the list of
'approved countries'.

Perhaps I am being a bit too optimistic, and we'll get it later today.

Hey, Everyone:

Did your supported servers on your upgrade email, reflect the number of licensed servers you have? The email I receive did not. I just thought that was rather strange.

My email showed 1 supported server and I have 2.

Here is my question. I have just loaded 6.0 on my dev server and am
about to load HD 5.X on it. Should I go ahead and load 6.3?

Is it just me, or is the documentation not available yet. I keep
getting a error when searching for 6.3 docs.

Thanks

Kyle

For those that have not received the email... Here is the wording...
Very interesting!

It really appears to have 2 release dates!

**********

AR System 6.3 Upgrades Now Available!

Remedy is proud to announce the release of Action Request System 6.3.

This release of AR System includes features to improve end user
productivity:
- Faster web client performance and higher Mid-tier scalability
- Improved web graphical user interface look and feel
- Extensive control over user interface style elements

To get the benefit from all these new AR System 6.3 features, upgrade
today and see how you can improve end user productivity and optimize
your current IT and AR System investments.

Please Note the following:

Please do not distribute this email or the upgrade URL below. The
software is only available for distribution to a specific set of
customers to allow BMC to comply with US export requirements. These
export requirements limit our distributions to certain countries for a
30 day period following a recent change in our export classification.
Upgrade Central will be updated with this software in Mid-February when
the product reaches GA -General Availability and is available for all
customers world-wide. For additional information, please read the AR
System 6.3 note in the What's Hot section of Supportweb.

A Mozilla performance patch will be made available shortly after the
release of this product. This patch, though not functionally required,
will improve the performance of Mozilla on most platforms working with
AR System applications relative to the prior version of AR System. This
patch provides an interim workaround for an issue we found recently with
Mozilla. Remedy is currently working with several groups that support
Mozilla to permanently resolve this issue. Please look at the updated
Release Notes and the "What's Hot" section of Supportweb for additional
information post-release.

It appears as though the Windows versions are not yet available [not
listed on the compatibility matrix] and also may be the reason why I
did not receive an email from Remedy.

Since its no longer available and only available through limited release, does this mean that the remaining dates that we guessed at in Patrick's email still stand?

Can we say that our date guess was for a worldwide and always accessible release and still make the cut?

Especially, since there's a disclaimer about 30 days.
:)

Sneaky,
But I would say no. 1st Cut is release date. Even if they recall it for
1 day or more.
Michelle, you sound like my kids, when I send them to bed..
But mom's not home yet..
I didn't get to eat..
Ahhh, Too bad for you.. son.. You should have managed your time better..
Goodnight.

Goodnight Michelle.. =8 ^)

**

Since its no longer available and only available through limited release,
does this mean that the remaining dates that we guessed at in Patrick's
email still stand?

Can we say that our date guess was for a worldwide and always accessible
release and still make the cut?

Especially, since there's a disclaimer about 30 days.
:)

Doesn't this happen with just about every release????

Now you see it...now you don't!
