Anybody have the link to download ARS 6.3 and the 6.0 apps? I can't find it under the upgrade or patches sections on the support site. We do have a valid support ID through Dec 05. Thanks, Scott

Scott 6.0.3 is only available thru controlled channels at this point. Remedy had sent out an email to the group asking that those that have received the link not posted it to the list.
The upgrade will be available in about 30 days according to Remedy.
We need to get together for Ribs later this week or next if we can.... :)

Yea, controlled availability. If you read the notes on that, those in the US can upgrade immediately. GA is scheduled for Mid-Feb for those countries not on the list. " Customers in or headquartered in the following countries will receive Upgrade Notifications immediately and be able to upgrade: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States " So my question then is why is half the list getting it now and those with valid support contracts being told to wait? Doesn't make sense. We would like to press on in development with the new releases as we are strictly going to web only on the client side. Just my .02 but thanks for the reply. Scott

Scott - Not sure if this helps, but a couple of times in the past, my email regarding a new release has been quite a bit behind other folks. I've seen chatter on the list about the new release, and searched my e-mail in vain for a notice. That didn't happen this time, but it has in the past.
Maybe your notice is just a little slow getting to you?
Thanks, Ron Tools Admin

Scott:
Read the original message COMPLETELY. Due to a change in the type of software that ARS is considered, it cannot be released outside of the countries listed for at LEAST 30 days after releasing to U.S. customers. I would suggest waiting for a few days if you are a company in the listed countries as it is taking some time to get all of the messages out, according to my support representative at Remedy. Also, log onto the Remedy Support web site and make sure that you are listed as the support point of contact. It may be that there are others and they may/may not work where you are at anymore and the Upgrade message was sent to them instead of you.
And if you receive a message from Remedy, DO NOT RELEASE OR PASS IT TO ANYONE! You and you alone have to go and get the upgrade. Do not post the code where the public can get to it, either.
In any case, it will be available to all about Mid to Late February.
