Hello all, I have AREA LDAP set up for users logging in. Now I am looking at ARDBC for user information, etc. My question is how does it work. Does it populate SHR:People? Does it use what it finds through the LDAP connection instead? Will I still have to create new user accounts in REMEDY when a new employee comes on board, etc. Licenses, Group information????? I think you get where I am going with this. The more information on how it functions the better. I will worry about setting up later. Thanks in advance,Paul StanfaRemedy Developer

Hey,

What are you doing, I have all the info you need about
this. Call me tomorrow. The AREA LDAP setup reads
from your network directory. If a new employee comes
on board, you add them to Remedy w/ a blank password.

They are verified against the network directory with
their network password.

Paul,

I'm working on this myself right now. The ARDBC plugin allows you to
populate a vendor form which then in turn can populate your people form
through workflow. .

Here are some "tips and tricks" from Remedy that have been very helpful to
me.

Hope that helps.
