Hello,

I'm new to the group, from what I see - it says a lot for the Remedy
product to have such an active user group!

Since there is so much discussion, I was wondering if it would be possible
to add a prefix to the message subjects (like [ARList] so that I could
direct them to a special folder?

Thank you! - I look forward to further participation,
Betsy

Hi Betsy,

Most arslist listers do have filters setup on their incoming mail to
move the postings to a folder. I have mine setup so that when
'arslist' is in the To line they go to a folder. It works great and
lets you review the messages when you're ready and keeps everything
separated.

Let me know if you have additional questions ... hope that helps!

Susan

Hi Betsy,
There is a subscription option to display the list name in the subject line
of messages you receive from the list. Log onto www.arslist.org and follow
these steps:

1. Follow the "Subscriber's Corner" link.
2. Click the "ARSLIST" link in the table that shows the lists to which you
are subscribed.
3. You should see a page titled, "Join or Leave the ARSLIST List".
4. Under "Mail Header Style", select "LISTSERV-style, with list name in
subject [SUBJECTHDR]". Click the "Update Options" button to save your
changes.

Alternatively, you can send an e-mail command to the listserv
(listserv@listserv.rbugs.com) to make this change. Include the following
text in the message body:

SET ARSLIST SUBJECTHDR

Regards,

Thomas
