I am in need of getting ESP’s License Monitor Plus lic.config file updated to run on a new production server. My support is current but several emails and telephone messages requesting a new lic.cofig file have gone unanswered. Apparently, about six months ago Ed Brown, with ESP, passed away and no one is running the shop. Any assistance on this would be appreciated.

I got the same problem. We are running License Monitor and Emailer. At the end of the month the domain name will be changed for our production system, so we'll need another license as well. Need help urgently.

A few days ago I submitted a enhancement request to BMC about this issue; and, contacted Remedy Tech Support for assistance. When I spoke with a Remedy contact I was given the impression a solution to this issue is best addressed by a Remedy partner. In fact, my Remedy contact will meet with Matt Reinfeltd and this license tracking issue may come up. I hate think of someone reinventing the wheel when such a good one existed in the ESP License Monitor Plus. Gesh – what does a person have to do to be heard around here <grin>….

I spoke with Andy M. and referenced the 200 pus hits on your site this ESP thingy has generated and that’s when the “meeting” was brought up. Since you are unaware of this my guess is the ESP topic didn’t come up . I can add my telephone number if you need any more details.

That's good to hear! As far as "future release", they're probably talking about a major release... so, maybe, possibly, sometime next year...? If they're talking about the "next" future release.... if they're not
talking about the "next" major release, it could be a while...

No it is not. Ed Brown passed away and his widow closed down his business.

Wow that is terrible news. I was one of his first customers. He was a great guy and always answered my questions no matter how dumb they were.

Yeah, everyone was very shocked when it happened! I enjoyed the conversations that he and I had. We'll all miss him.
