Hi *,

just a short question regarding the use of the ARS midtier server. Has anybody used signed java applets in the midtier?

I have read Sun's documentation about signed applets in .jar-files. But there seems to be a problem with Remedy and their client_services.zip. This file contains .class-Files which you cannot sign according to Sun's docs.

Is it possible to sign the remedy applet and how can I do this?

Thanks in advance
Stefan

If you just want to create Java programs that can enter data into Remedy, make sure to look at the java driver program included in the api directory (with the ars server software). That should have examples that show you what you need to accomplish what you want.
