I'm using Crystal Reports 9.0 with Remedy ODBC driver 5.01.01. Today, when I tried to add a table to a new report, I got this error. It is also happening when adding a table to an existing report.

I can run reports and add/remove fields from existing reports.

We've had the same setup for over 6 months with no problems, and no changes. Only my machine seems to be affected, but reinstalling both Remedy and Crystal have not helped.

Does anyone have a clue? Help!

Step 1 check your ODBC driver for version 5.01.02.1357 or greater.
Step 2 you must then update the data source of the report to pick up on the updated driver by selecting under Data Base within Crystal Reports set data source location and then let the report update.

This process will fix your problem but you must either create a new report using the updated driver or go through the update process by reseting the data source location the report is using.

See Crystal (Business objects) support article c2013522.asp in the knowledge base for a workaround.
