Location - National Institutes of Health – Bethesda, Maryland
Salary - Dependent on experience (Negotiable)

Major Duties
• Assist in documentation and prioritization of business, functional and technical system requirements.
• Provide support in the development of a system architecture plan detailing interfaces between Remedy and associated supporting systems and underlying data base structures and relationships.
• Develop Remedy application software solutions using appropriate tools, environments, programming languages and methodologies.
• Maintain effective source code control and software change control methods and procedures.
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of Remedy system problems.
• Support the development of operational process flows related to Remedy system functionality.
• Assist in maintaining the Remedy development and production system environments in collaboration with system administration staff.
• Assist in the management of technical relationships with software vendors related to the Remedy environment.
• Support regular team and customer project meetings.
• Create and maintain system design specifications.
• Monitor progress against overall project schedule.
• Collaborate with, and leverage the capabilities of other ORS support and development groups to meet team goals and objectives.
• Manage project work using appropriate tools and techniques include work breakdown schedules. Develop and execute unit, system, integration, and user tests to ensure system performance and quality meets operational and business objectives

Requirements
• 4+ years Remedy Development experience.
• At least 2 Remedy Administration Classes.
• Good written and oral communications, analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
• Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical people.
• Hard working, multi-tasking, excellent analytical skills with the ability to define and resolve problems.
• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect.
• Adept at diagnosing and troubleshooting problems.
• Team player who's willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Proven analytical and problem solving ability.
• Ability to work within a team and take technical direction from several different people.
• Able to work outside normal business hours.
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements.
• Strong understanding of software architectures and software life-cycle methodology.
