Hello list,
Can please anyone help me on this:

I'm trying to install Remedy ARS 6.0 with Mid-Tier on the following configuration:

Operating System: Windows 2003 Server Enterprise

Web Server: IBM Websphere 5.1

I followed all the instructions contained in the white paper “Installing the Mid Tier with IBM WebSphere on windows platforms” (even if it refers to Websphere version 4 and Remedy version 5.1). This means that I created The “.war file” and installed the remedy application on websphere.

Unfortunately, I ran in the following problem:

I succeed in opening and using the configuration tool and also succeed in opening Remedy forms, nonetheless the forms show partially. To be more precise, it seems that only tables are shown (result lists and form tables) while I can't see anything else. Anyway, I checked all the parameters displayed in the configuration tool (overview, general settings, etc.) and they are ok. Automatically deploy is setted “on” too.

IMPORTANT: I already made a succesfull installation of Remedy ARS 6.0 with Mid Tier on Windows 2000 server and Websphere 5.0.2 and all is working great.

Moreover, I checked the Compatibility Matrix and didn’t find anything about the windows 2003 – websphere 5.1 compatibility. Could it be a compatibility problem?

Thanks in advance

quite possibly... I would ask Remedy Support if anyone has tested that version.

Indeed. Websphere need thr correct version (check installation document) of Java,
special parameters to deploy the midtier and it doesn't run with Sun Java. But the problem very frecuently lies on the NTFS permission: please verify NETWORK SERVICE, SYSTEM and IWAS_<server> users have FULL permission on the Midtier directories.
