ARS 5.1.2 (patch 1313)
SQL2k
WIN2k
Is anyone using Migrator 6.0 against a 5.1.2 patch 1313 server? Are there any issues with this setup?
TIA,

Hello Audrey.
Thanks for the info. Nice meeting you at RUG. Is anyone else using Migrator 6.0 against a 5.1.2 server?

We are using Migrator 6.0 against our 5.1.2 server with no issues, other than Migrator being quirky sometimes, but that doesn't have to do with the server, more with Migrator itself.

Using it against 5.0.1 and when I initially had problems they said to upgrade, that v6 was compatible downwards and they had rectified a few undesireable features.
There are still some quirky things but I use it nearly daily.

I sometimes get false diff reports (which I reported to Remedy, they stated it was a bug) and objects sometimes have to be migrated more than once. Just little things like that, really no show stoppers. I use Migrator quite a bit, and it seems to work fine for us.
