Yes the ARS ODBC driver provides a user with a Read Only access to the AR System
database to read data from the AR System database....
From what you have asked I understand you do not want to read from the AR System
database but update the AR System database based on information contained in another
database used by some other application.
There are several methods you could do this each of these methods have their own
scopes. Do you want this action do be done during some even within the ARS? Or is this
to be done on some schedule?
Depending on your situation, you could adopt tools such as Escalations or Filters to
write run a direct SQL to the foreign database, (off course after you have established
the requred DB link between the two.)
If you still need help, a little more details from you as to what you want to achieve
would be appreciated...
